Our Volunteers:
Camp is run entirely by volunteers! We need a dedicated team of musicians and non-musicians alike to make our program happen; time commitment varies by role. Volunteering is open to any person who is committed to showing up and providing a safe and supportive environment for our campers. Preference for manager/mentor/coach positions will be given to cisgender or transgender women, non-binary and gender non-conforming folks in line with our mission to provide our program in a positive female-centric environment.

There are a number of volunteer positions available, please read the descriptions and indicate which you may be best suited for.
Instrument Instructor:
Must be available between 10 and 11 am, not required to commit to every day and not required Friday. Should have proficiency in one of our main camp instruments (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocals)
and preferably some experience instructing. Campers will be of various ages and abilities, some having never played before. Basic lessons are all that are required, there will be a maximum 4-5 students in a group. Instructors will be given a list of students including their level of experience prior to camp.
Band Manager:
Must be available for the duration of the camp. No musical experience required. This position is assigned as a mentor to one band for the week. You will be responsible for keeping them on schedule, assisting with gear set up/take down, and generally acting as a good role model. If you are interested in being a band manager, please consider what age groups you are comfortable working with.
Music Coach:
Flexible availability. Must have some musical experience . This position helps the bands with songwriting and composition. Campers will do a 'Songwriting 101' workshop on Monday, and will be encouraged to prepare one original song and one cover song for the Saturday showcase. Depending on your experience, you can also help with instrument troubleshooting and technique.
Workshop Leader:
Flexible availability. Do you have a specialized area of expertise that could be valuable to our campers? We hope to provide workshops in areas such as merch design, booking shows, performance, sound production, social media, etc. Our workshops are split into short "topic of the day" discussions first thing in the morning, and hour long "hands on" workshops in the afternoon. Let us know what you have to offer!
Camp Support Crew:
Flexible availability. No musical experience required. This position helps with general supervision, equipment, clean up, etc. If you have musical experience, you are more than welcome to help our campers with playing/songwriting.
